Genpower Ltd is a family-run business founded in 2006 by Roland Llewellin (Managing Director).
The company is the exclusive distributor of HYUNDAI POWER PRODUCTS for the UK and Ireland, supported by a team of over 120 colleagues. Our portfolio of brands also includes P1 POWER EQUIPMENT, EVOPOWER, GARDENTEK & BE PRESSURE.
In 2022, we became the worldwide (excl. India) distributor for JCB portable power and petrol equipment. We have also secured the UK distribution, working alongside a great partner as a sub-licensee, for JCB TOOLS – corded, cordless, hand and benchtop products in the growing range.
From our 120,000 sqft headquarters in Pembroke Dock and 100,000sq ft distribution centre in Newport, we distribute to an approved dealer (reseller) network and direct-to-consumer via our eCommerce channels and specialist online retailers.

At Genpower Ltd we have been helping 15 year old Dylan Allman with his Hedgehog Aware campaign. We’ve added 100,000 Hedgehog Aware stickers to our #Hyundai garden machines this year. Thank you Georgia L. for the design work!
Dylan is doing a tremendous job in promoting this good cause and recently featured on The One Show.
We at Hyundai Power Products were recently contacted by 15-year-old hedgehog champion Dylan Allman from Monmouth who has been campaigning tirelessly over the past two years to raise awareness of the plight of one of the UK’s most iconic and beloved small mammals. From making award-winning films, running livestream events, giving awareness-raising talks to his local community, and working with both his local rescue centre and the national Hedgehog Street charity, he’s been doing everything possible to help make life better for hedgehogs.
Dylan initially contacted Roland Llewellin, our Managing Director, to talk about his campaign ideas. Roland was incredibly impressed with Dylan’s passion for this worthwhile cause and was inspired to act to implement his ideas. Both Dylan and Roland were featured on BBC One’s The One Show on Saturday 7th May where they were live streaming to speak about this fantastic cause. Raising Money for Ukraine
Hyundai Power Products Ukraine Appeal
At the start of March, we launched an emergency appeal in aid of the British Red Cross to help support the people of Ukraine during this awful time (https://www.justgiving.com/team/hyundaipowerproducts). As a business, our target for March 2022 was to raise £40,000 by donating 1% of all our Hyundai Power Products sales over this period. Our Operations Management team have also been busy raising funds in aid of Ukraine with bake sales, charity bike rides (see below) and an upcoming sponsored trek up Pen Y Fan (Saturday 9th April 2022).
We are pleased to announce that we have raised a massive £51,855 (129% of our target!). Thank you all for your contribution in helping us achieve this.
On Saturday the 26th of March, Chris Collier (Workshop/Warehouse Manager) and Ryan Steer (Aftersales Manager) completed a “Cycle of Support”. This was a 52.4 mile bike ride that began in Cardiff City centre, finishing at Mumbles point in Swansea. The pair raised an amazing £550 – a brilliant effort and contribution, well done both!
Adrian Duggan (Product Quality Manager) has also raised a fantastic £4863.76 ahead of the sponsored trek to the summit of Pen YFan, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, with the Genpower Operations Team. A big thank you to Adrian’s YouTube Chanel supporters for their donations to the cause. Alongside this Rob Ward (Senior Stock Controller) and some expert bakers put on a bake sale at HQ with some recipe books to raise some extra funds!
